The Tag System

Every Caddie Cartel hat tells you exactly what it is before you buy it. The tag is the story — here’s what each one means.

Orange Tag — Original
One Run. Never Repeated.

The Preorder Original

Every design starts as a preorder drop. During the window, you can lock one in at $50. When the window closes, that’s it — the hat goes into production and that exact colorway is never made again.

Orange tag hats come full spec: stretch-fit elastic interior, performance sweatband, and branded internal tag. They ship direct from production to preorder buyers first. Any leftovers move to In Stock at $60 — and when those are gone, the colorway is closed forever.

If you see an orange tag hat, you’re looking at a hat that exists in a finite number. There will never be more.

Same DNA. New Colorway.

The Reproduction

When a design proves itself — when enough people want it and the original is already gone — it earns a second life as a Black Tag. Same silhouette, different colorway. Not a restock. Not a reprint. A different hat wearing the same DNA.

Black tag hats are full spec — tee holder, magnet, branded tag — and available while supplies last. No preorder required. They ship within 3 business days.

The original orange tag version is still gone — that colorway doesn’t come back. The black tag is its own hat. If it sells, it can be reprinted in the same colorway. That’s the point. Orange tag is always the one-time run. Black tag is the design that proved it deserved to keep going.

What About The OG’s?

The OG’s predate the tag system. Pre-launch samples carry no tag — they’re from the original sample run before any of this existed. The Classic OG hat is the permanent branded Caddie Cartel hat, always in stock.

The tag tells you exactly what you’re buying. Orange means a one-time run — finite, never wholesale, never repeated. Black means a proven design that can be reprinted and sold wider. No guessing, no surprises.
